Happy First Week of School Caesaria Families!
I am so excited to welcome your students to second grade!
Here is what we’re working on this week:
Starting now and during the year we are also focusing on developing a growth mindset. Changing our attitudes from thinking “I can’t” to “I can’t yet, but if I work hard, I will be able to.” So I am focusing on praising students for the effort and hard work they put into their studies, rather than “how smart they are.”
Reminders:
Thank you to families who already brought in supplies!! If you have not yet brought in supplies, please do so by this Friday, August 26th.
Sela serves breakfast in the classroom 8:15-8:30. Your child may also bring their own breakfast to eat with the class. If you want your child to have breakfast at school, please have them in the classroom by 8:15 AM. Instruction begins at 8:30 AM sharp.
Sela is part of the Healthy Schools program, so inside school only healthy food is allowed for breakfast, snack or lunch. So no candy or sweets should be sent with children.
I am looking forward to wonderful year of growing with your children!
